Yuchen Ma

About me:

I earned my Ph.D. at the University of Toronto, focusing on the formation of ocean thermohaline staircases. Following postdoctoral work at MIT on the internal waves in submarine canyons, I am now a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Cambridge.

My research sits at the intersection of applied mathematics, fluid mechanics and physical oceanography. I utilize theoretical models and numerical simulations to uncover the fundamental mechanisms driving ocean turbulence and internal gravity waves.
